How Orbit Club Compares to Other Coffee Subscriptions
There are a lot of great ways to get specialty coffee, and I'd rather help you find the right one than pretend we're the only option. Here's how our Orbit Club compares to a few names people often ask me about.
| Syzygy Orbit Club | Panther Coffee | Driftaway | Trade and MistoBox | Atlas Coffee Club | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who roasts your coffee | Us. I roast every bag to order in Miami. | Panther, a Miami roaster with its own cafes | Driftaway, a roaster in Brooklyn | Lots of different roasters | Coffee from a different country each shipment |
| Best for | Fresh coffee from one small roaster, on your schedule | Sitting down at a great Miami cafe | Starting out with a tasting kit to find your style | Trying a new roaster every time | Taking a trip around the coffee world |
What you get with Orbit Club
You pick whole bean, espresso, or coarse, and a bag every week, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, or once a month. I roast it light to medium light, usually within 2 to 3 business days of your order, and shipping is always free. You can skip, pause, or cancel anytime, and code LIFTOFF takes 50% off your first Orbit Club order.
Syzygy and Panther
We're both part of the specialty coffee scene in Miami, and I'd never call one of us the best. Panther is a wonderful place to go sit and sip. We're a small roastery that sends fresh coffee to your door. Plenty of people do both: brew ours at home and grab a cup at their favorite cafe when they're out.
One roaster or many?
Clubs like Trade and MistoBox are great if you love surprises and want a different roaster every time. Atlas is fun if you want to taste your way around the world. Orbit Club is for people who want to know exactly who roasted their coffee, and when. Same small team, same care, every single bag.
Questions
Is Syzygy better than Panther?
We don't think of it that way. They're different experiences, and plenty of people enjoy both. Try us and see what you like!
Can I switch to Orbit Club from another coffee club?
Of course. Just cancel your other club the way they ask you to, then join Orbit Club. Pick your grind and schedule, and I will start roasting your coffee.
