Coffee cupping is a standardized evaluation method used to assess roasted coffee in order to determine its quality.
During this process, only freshly roasted coffee and water is used - no filters; this helps detect potential errors and defects which might show up, such as over-roasting or under-roasting (which would be our fault) or tasting notes that aren't desirable yet are inherit to the bean (which would be the bean's fault).
While you can do everything right in terms of evaluating Green Coffee beans, all the way up to roasting to the perfect profile, taste is what ultimately determines the coffee's quality.
In short, cupping lets you know if your coffee is good or not, and we ensure only the best coffee is roasted and shipped to you!
